June 27, 2012

Vancouver, BC – Aben Resources Ltd. (TSX-V: ABN) (OTC Pink: ABNAF) (the “Company”) is providing an update on its upcoming 2012 exploration and drilling program at its 100% owned, 18,314 acre flagship Justin Gold Project. The property is located in the southeast Yukon on the Tintina Gold Belt approximately 35 kilometres southeast of the Cantung Mine and is accessed by an all-season road.

Unusual flooding due to rapid snow melt in the southeast Yukon has damaged sections of the Nahanni Range Road which has delayed the proposed start of drilling to mid-July. However, the Company is pleased to announce that government crews have made better than expected headway with the road repairs and the road has just re-opened to allow Aben’s exploration team access to the Justin Project. The Company’s crews will finish constructing the exploration camp on the property as well as commencing the necessary field work to prepare for the upcoming drill program.

This season’s diamond drill program will consist of a planned 4,000 metres of drilling in 15-20 holes focused on follow-up and expansion work around the newly discovered POW Zone, and Kangas Zone. The exploration program this year will also include additional infill geophysical and geochemical surveys as well as detailed geological mapping. Last year, a first-pass drill program was completed on the Justin Project which led to significant new green-fields gold and silver discoveries on the property. Highlights included 60.00 metres of 1.19 g/t gold including 21.00 metres of 2.47 g/t gold as well as 11.30 metres of 2.70 g/t gold and 29.00 g/t silver in the POW Zone. Additionally, a 1.00 metre interval of 7320.00 g/t silver (234 oz/ton silver) and 3.52% copper was intercepted at the Kangas Zone which is 1.4 kilometres south of the POW Zone.

The planned geophysical work at the POW Zone this season will consist of magnetic surveys to infill new areas of the property not covered by the previous airborne survey. This is illustrated in the diagram below. It is anticipated that more targets will be indentified with these planned surveys based on the numerous targets already identified to the south and northwest of the proposed infill area.
